Tai Yi Milk King
This popular fresh fruit and Taiwanese ice stand is located across from the athletic facilities at National Taiwan University (Tai Da). A great place to relax after a workout, especially in the hot and muggy summer, customers can order fresh fruit juices and milk drinks. If feeling peckish, the Taiwanese ice and its many dessert toppings--red and green bean, oatmeal, jam, chocolate, glutinous balls, and peanuts---offers a more substantial snack. In the winter, try the wonton soup or hot tang yuan (glutinous balls filled with poppy or peanut paste) to warm up.
