Stinking Rose (The)
As the sign clearly says, this is a "Garlic Restaurant". Open since 1991, this American/Italian gourmet restaurant has a stylish and contemporary decor, with a welcoming bar and friendly staff--endearingly called stinkers. The menu aims to successfully combine garlic and herbal spices, and successful it is. Most pasta dishes cost about TWD300, with a wide range of other main courses on offer costing up to TWD600. This is a must for garlic lovers.
