Peng Yuan

Peng Yuan is among the best known Hunanese restaurants in Taipei. After all, its owner is Peng Chang Gui, the man dubbed the Father of modern Hunanese cuisine. This restaurant is now so popular that it boasts another two branches in Tawian and four other locations on the island. Popular dishes include shrimp salad on lettuce leaves, honeyed ham finger-sandwiches and a fish soup served raw and cooked at the table with boiling broth.
