Liung's Cantonese B.B.Q.
The owner of this popular Tanshui restaurant, Mr. Liung, moved to Taiwan from Hong Kong 30 years ago. And now both tourists and locals enjoy Liung's B.B.Q. for its great selection of quality Cantonese cuisine. The decor is simple with round tables and benches, and plain white walls. Yet the Chinese character art makes this a distinctively Cantonese restaurant. Naturally, barbeque is the speciality here. Try chicken, duck or goose where the meat is juicy and soft, but the skin is crunchy. One whole chicken costs TWD320, while goose is charged by weight.
