Lanka Restaurant
This is one of the few Sri Lankan restaurants in Taipei. It is tiny, only seating about 25. The dishes are well prepared and range from mild to quite spicy. The curried and deviled meat dishes are among the hottest. If an order is too spicy for your liking, just ask for a lemon wedge and sprinkle some lemon juice on the sauce to counteract the spice. Roti, the Sri Lankan equivalent of the Chinese onion cake, is a good side dish and well worth trying. The Coconut Nan Breads come with two per order and are delicious.
