Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill
With its plentiful servings of authentic American food, such as steaks, seafood and ribs, this Chicago-style restaurant has long been a favorite of Taipei's expatriate community. The decor features an abundance of Chicago memorabilia and assorted Americana. The large and comfortable bar is a great place to read the paper and enjoy a drink; their Bloody Mary is especially good. As it is located in the financial district, the restaurant is very busy from about 6pm onwards, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are recommended.
